Alpheus was a great river God of Greek Mythology, represented by the River Alph which coursed through Ancient Greece. It was told that Alpheus rushed across the sea to the object of his affections, Arethusa, to an island. There a flowing spring came forth, representing requited love, and communion. Coleridge immortalised the river in his poem “A Vision in a Dream” in which he describes a fantastical garden full of worldly pleasures, and describes how “Alph the sacred river, ran through caverns measureless to man, down to a sunless sea”. The Alpheus Pendant made from carved Citrine then set with blue sapphires in 18K solid gold.

The Relic Collection pieces are one off, hand etched pendants. Each stone is individually engraved by hand by artisans which means that every piece is truly one of a kind. As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Orders will be dispatched bi-weekly using DHL domestic shipping. We are using DHL domestic in order to keep your jewellery safe and sound, but also because you have full control over delivery with the tracking number that is sent to you via email upon shipping. 

Delivery is a flat rate of $20.00 AUD.

Cleopatra’s Bling accepts the return of unworn and unused items in their original condition upon presentation of the original invoice within 14 days of order receipt, for exchange or store credit.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
