Linus was the Greek demigod of music, the son of Apollo and the brother of Orpheus. Snakes were powerful symbols within his life both of his father and of his brother. A snake was that which began his brother's journey into the underworld, and was the symbol of his father whose two snakes wrapped around a staff became a symbol for medicine and healing. Linus described their stories in his music - combining the rational and inquisitive of his family members, with the creative and intuitive through his lyre melodies and his song. When he died it was said to have been the Muses that mourned him the most deeply. The Linus Ring is set with precious stones of ruby, emerald and amethyst. (We can customize with stones of your choice, please enquire).

Handcrafted and individually cast in solid yellow gold - nickel and lead free. Olivia carves each piece from wax, so please allow a a 3-4 week turn-around time for gold pieces made-to-order. Each piece is unique, which we believe is what gives it its beauty. Items ship from Italy.

As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Orders will be dispatched bi-weekly using DHL domestic shipping. We are using DHL domestic in order to keep your jewellery safe and sound, but also because you have full control over delivery with the tracking number that is sent to you via email upon shipping.

Cleopatra’s Bling accepts the return of unworn and unused items in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of order receipt, for store credit. Please contact a member of our team to begin the returns process.

This policy strictly excludes items to which a discount code has been applied, sale items, and items made-to-order or customised in any way, including all solid gold items.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
