Melusine is a water nymph who has appeared in Western European mythology dating back many hundreds of years. Melusine is said to have been the daughter of a fairy and a king. She takes the shape of a mermaid only when she touches water, and so is very private about her bathing rituals, so as not to be discovered by mortal onlookers. Although on one occasion she was discovered by her noble husband, he kept his silence, until, during a disagreement, he broke his promise and revealed her to his courtiers. At that moment she took the form of a serpent dragon, bestowed upon the king two magical rings, and flew away, never to be seen again. The Melusine Pendant is carved from lapis lazuli and studded with pink diamond. One available, cast in 14K solid gold.

The Relic Collection pieces are one off, hand etched pendants. Each stone is individually engraved by hand by artisans which means that every piece is truly one of a kind. Your unique piece of jewellery by Cleopatra's Bling has been handmade using traditional jewellery techniques and exceptional materials.

As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
