The parrot represents truth and clarity in the ancient Indian science of shilpashastra in which the arts of sculpture, painting, and and iconography are used to represent cultural wisdoms. The suki, or female parrot, repeats that which it hears without distorting it, showing an understanding of the world’s teachings. The Suki Earrings are crafted in either 14-karat or 18-karat gold, and set with enamel. Their bellies are adorned with large green emeralds, while their backs are crested with glowing ruby. Diamond studs the eyes, and blue sapphire are splashed across the wings of these sparkling birds, that are completed with a flourish of freshwater pearls.

Size of bird: 2.2cm x 1.5cm. Size of leaf: 9mm x 8mm. Handcrafted and individually cast. Olivia carves each piece from wax, so please allow a 4-6 week turn-around time for made-to-order items. Set by expert stone setters, each stone is ethically sourced, natural and traceable. All solid gold is hand crafted to order and is therefore non-refundable and not exchangeable. As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Cleopatra’s Bling accepts the return of unworn and unused items in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of order receipt, for store credit. Please contact a member of our team to begin the returns process.

This policy strictly excludes items to which a discount code has been applied, sale items, and items made-to-order or customised in any way, including all solid gold items.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
