The Assuan Ring, or the Ring of Ra, is a legendary jewel of protection. Legend has it that a curse was placed on the tomb of the Egyptian King Tutankhamen, but when archeologist Howard Carter opened the pharaoh’s resting place, he remained unaffected. Many believed this was thanks to his being in possession of a ring belonging to an Egyptian priest, Jua, which Carter found in the town of Assua. It was carved and set with geometric shapes, which some believed were designed using the principles of an esoteric knowledge, by the people of the lost city of Atlantis. These were designed to protect the wearer. The Assuan Ring is set with a deep teal Australian sapphire and studded with black diamond. Pictured here in 14k solid yellow gold.

 Handcrafted and individually cast. Olivia carves each piece from wax, so please allow a 4-6 week turn-around time for made-to-order items. Set by expert stone setters, each stone is ethically sourced, natural and traceable. All solid gold is hand crafted to order and is therefore non-refundable and not exchangeable. As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Orders will be dispatched bi-weekly using DHL domestic shipping. We are using DHL domestic in order to keep your jewellery safe and sound, but also because you have full control over delivery with the tracking number that is sent to you via email upon shipping.

Cleopatra’s Bling accepts the return of unworn and unused items in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of order receipt, for store credit. Please contact a member of our team to begin the returns process.

This policy strictly excludes items to which a discount code has been applied, sale items, and items made-to-order or customised in any way, including all solid gold items.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
